Meet B&G's lead

Originally from West Sussex and growing up on a farm in Dorset, Baker & Gunn’s founder Emily has grown up within a hard working and driven family along with three younger brothers.

In her professional life, Emily has worked on numerous campaigns, both in a business and Christian charity capacity over the last 8 years. This built up confidence and skill in these ever changing digital areas. Furthermore, gaining experience as a Communications Lead, at a large Charity organisation and church based in Solihull.

Emily also has experience helping produce radio shows and audio documentaries including through BBC North (Spark FM) Brum Radio & Radio Tyneside.

Beforehand, studying a course in Music and Business and receiving a Master of Arts qualification specialising in Radio, Media & Communications.

Emily's passion has pathed her to work on various Media and Communications related projects in an array of places, such as Newcastle, Birmingham, London to Guildford. More currently, in Cheshire and the Merseyside where the business is now based.

At ‘Baker & Gunn’ we want to expand the horizons of this growing new venture and develop its true potential supporting various clients.

True fun fact, Emily loves working with her co-worker, her Cavapoo named Lola and one of her favourite places to be is the various Merseyside or Dorset beaches.

What is Baker & Gunn?

Baker & Gunn is a Boutique Agency founded in 2025 by Emily Baker. The business name 'Baker & Gunn' is a mixture of two family surnames.

The venture specialises in communications, project management, content creating, video editing and producing multi-media related work such as podcasts to radio shows. We also offer one to one classes on content creating. The heart behind this venture is to make a difference both in Charity sectors, Broadcast and Business based projects.

Whatever and whoever ‘Baker & Gunn’ is collaborating with, we want to make sure our projects are impactful and of high quality. It's important to us, that we hold up a standard of professionalism and see through a project from the Genesis idea to an end product. We believe a great collaborative partnership with clients is also very key, and we want to make sure this is a tailored experience.

Some future aims of Baker & Gunn, are to create and host community networking or workshop events, particularly for younger men and women based in the North West who want to explore or have started to create their own businesses.

"I want Baker & Gunn to explore and collaborate with a variety of clients. I believe it's a place for creativity, adventure and living life purposely too. Using this platform as a way to inspire others is also something I believe can be done. It becomes more than just a 'business' then, it's a 'studio' of unlimited exploration. Being adventurous is important to my ethos, be different, be authentic."
